Profile Directory

I am a 2d animator, illustrator and visual artist, based in Croydon. Having graduated with distinction from Goldsmiths Media and Communications degree in 2005, I have been involved with a variety of educational and creative projects, including two solo animations for Surrey Young Carers, music videos and a continuing position as Visiting Tutor in both Animation and Media Theory at Goldsmiths. I also facilitate creative workshops for community organisations and corporate clients, working with a diverse range of participants in a variety of different mediums including filmmaking, illustration, life drawing, digital art, mural painting and craftwork.
As the daughter of former South African exiles, I have a great interest in questions of identity, displacement and belonging, themes which seem to always find their way into my personal work and which appear to resonate widely for many of the groups I work with.
Central to my practice is my passion for and continuing interest in animation’s cultural and practical accessibility - its growing availability as a digital medium, as well as its core ability to engender empathy and enchantment for viewer and practitioner alike.
