Heart ‘n Soul is one of the UK’s leading arts organisations, made up of nearly one hundred artists with learning disabilities who create shows, events, recordings and films. We present the cream of disability art to diverse audiences. Heart n Soul pioneered The Beautiful Octopus Club in 1996, the original nightclub run by people with learning disabilities. We also created The Squidz Club – a participatory event for young people (14 –25 yrs) and have helped to inspire and set up nightclubs around the country including The Beautiful Octopus Club, Leeds in association with the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
