Hackney Streets Ahead

This year’s annual Invest in Hackney event is being staged at the Geffrye Museum on 7 November. As a regular fixture in the Hackney regeneration calendar, it offers developers, architects, agents, businesses and other key stakeholders the opportunity to share information and update each other on the fantastic opportunities and developments shaping the borough.

The event will mark the launch of ‘Hackney Streets Ahead’ – a coffee-table style chunky book, which profiles and showcases the business and investment opportunities available in each of Hackney’s 6 neighborhoods – drawing attention to key trends, growths sectors and other relevant data to help investors and businesses realise the untapped potential of the borough and make informed inward investment decisions.

We are screening new Feature Films and Documentaries as well as feature length Animations and Machinimania, the festival is also open to Scripts and Film Scores for feature films. The London Tattoo Convention is coming up this weekend, 5th-7th October 2007. It's three days with some of the best tattooists from around the world. As usual, it will be held at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane.
