Introduction to Creative Event Management

Event management is a rapidly growing and exciting profession in Britain, with London at its epicentre. This intensive five week evening course will provide students with an introduction to event management and production and will cover event planning, design, funding and sponsorship, marketing, risk management, production and evaluation. From festivals and exhibitions through to commercial and charity events, this intensive programme looks at all the aspects of management needed for a successful event.
The programme will be run by international event manager Sandi Goodwin. Sandi has a strong background in event management and artistic production and has worked as an Event Manager, theatre, dance and festival producer in Britain and New Zealand for the past eight years. She has lectured in event management around the world and also works as a trainer. Sandi holds a Diploma in Event Management from AUT (Auckland, New Zealand) and a Diploma in Arts Management from Birkbeck in London.
