Patrick Semple - Solo exhibition in Ludlow
Posted by patrick semple on 08.05.08
Following his recent installation in the Greenwich Foot Tunnel, Patrick Semple has been invited to show at the Assembly Rooms in Ludlow, Herefordshire. Though the Greenwich piece included ‘the silver, severed hand of King Ludd’ there is no certain connection with the town of Ludlow. The mythical Ludd is based on the Celtic ‘sacrificial king’ Ludd Llaw Eraint who saved Britain from a plague of screams and is said to have founded London. The show runs from 9th May until 15th June.
